Every one we met from Michael and Jose to the guides and helpers made it a great stay. The rooms were great and in the best places. This was the high point of our vacation. We will tell all our friends. Thanks for everything.

To Whom it may concern in Management: Hello, My name is Nathan. I stayed at Los Quetzales from September 5th-10th. I had a wonderful time. I'm writing you to try and express my gratitude for your hospitality and the wonderful service that was provided to me by your staff. The first day I got there, my friend and I checked in and then went up to have dinner. I had stayed with you one other time about two years ago and I remembered having the best steak I had ever eaten at your restaurant. So without even looking at your menu I asked if you still had that. I was quite disappointed to learn you were removing steak from your menu. But I had a great meal anyway. On Wednesday I was told that the next day you were having a special of steak on the menu. I was very excited, and that steak was all I ate for the remainder of my stay. Those steaks were even better than I had remembered. On Friday night the server (he happened to have a cell phone that could translate english to spanish) he told me that you folks had gone out and gotten the steak specially for my guest and I. I was so blown away- I didn't know what to say or what to do. That is why I am writing this letter, to try and express my sincere appreciation for the thoughtfulness of your staff. They definitely went well above and beyond what they had to do. My stay was extremely comfortable and all I can say is Thank you. I'm sure I will have many more trips to Panama in which I will look forward to staying at Los Quetzales each and every time. Thank you again and please express my gratitude to all your wonderful staff.

My husband and I stayed at Los Quetzales in mid-February 2011 and very much enjoyed our visit. The accomodations were very comfortable and well-decorated, and the staff was very helpful, especially Natalie. Without exception, the meals were delicious, with the highlights for us being the fresh vegetables, fruit, and cheese. We took advantage of the guided tour, and appreciated the number of bird feeders supplied by the lodge, which helped us get a good look at the hummingbirds, tanagers, and sparrows. We hope to return some time in the future, and will recommend Los Quetzales to travelers we know.

Carlos, please know how much I appreciated you for your kindness, sensitivity and support. You represent the very best of what the spirit of Panama is all about and are truly an amazing person. It is easy to see how the Los Quetzales Lodge has become such a wonderful retreat for reflection, fun and adventure, as well as offering an educational experience. It is a reflection of yourself and we will be returning.

We very much enjoyed staying at Los Quetzales, and meeting you in particular. Your personal interest in your guests was very evident, and made our stay even more pleasant. We enjoyed our tours with Abel and Ito. Please give them our regards.

Carlos, I would like to thank you and your staff for a great stay at your lodge. Everything exceeded our expectations. Your staff are very friendly and accommodating. Please thank them for us. A special thank you to Jonathon for spending so much time with us and showing us all the birds. Your facilities are great. We enjoyed the room alot, the view of the grounds was nice, and if you would pass along a special thanks to the kitchen staff for great box lunches.

I just wanted to thank you and your partner for the hospitality you showed our TACA group last week. Your lodge is a very special and unique place. I could have easily spent several days on and around your property and wish we’d had more time to really experience all that Los Quetzales has to offer. I stayed in room #15, and it was very comfortable.

It was a pleasure meeting everyone at LQL (although I have to admit that I thought Abel was especially delightful)!! I had a really lovely time during my stay (and indeed during my entire trip to Panama). I am already thinking about my next trip to Panama, and my next visit to LQL! I just wanted to thank you for your help and knowledge while we visited your home in the cloud forest. We enjoyed the birding, Abel’s helo and knowledge on the hikes and at the lodge and all the personal touches that came with our great experience in the forest!!! Karen and I loved the massage and sauna beyond words and hope to return for a longer visit next time! Thanks again for everything!
